Featuring on Facebook

For the past three years we have operated a fanpage on Facebook. Mainly we posted links to our own new posts, but not much else. This year we experimented with something a little different and our fan base increased a little and fan participation increased. It’s an experiment and one we haven’t put a lot of time into, but definitely see that it bears attention.

So instead of always promoting ourselves, from now on we’ve decided to promote writers we read and enjoy!

Starting tomorrow we will be featuring a blog post from each of the following writers. This post will contain a direct link to the blog and the article we feature so you can easily go and have a look yourself. Also find their post on the Spread Information fanpage on Facebook and show your support with a Like, or two.

We will notify each blogger as their posts go up on the page and hopefully they will even stop by and add a comment, or two, themselves.

We hope you enjoy our picks for this week as much as we do!

Distortion and smear campaigns are attempts to control a target by using social manipulation and proxy recruitment to attack and discredit a targets reputation, character and credibility. These campaigns change the perception of a group rather than just an individual, as is the case in gaslighting.
